Murray Gough
In recent years Murray has worked with a wide variety of organisations (over 90) in Australia and the Asia Pacific Region to analyse, develop, design, conduct and evaluate programs for the development of business and program/project management staff of public and private sector organisations. Most of the organisations have been undertaking significant business re-engineering and have relied on organisational and professional development programs to facilitate change. Organisational maturity assessment and improvement has been a key outcome of this work and is Murray’s latest specialisation.
Murray has managed and consulted in a diverse range of projects including training systems, organisational change and international infrastructure and aid projects. The selection and use of relevant procedures and toolsets is a key strength and Murray has assisted many organisations to achieve optimal processes for the specific level, type and complexity of portfolios, programs and projects. More recently he has been involved in developing and implementing Corporate Key Performance Indicators for business and managerial performance in the project/contracting context. He has also created a Competency Based Assessment System (CBAS) for professional development in program and project management and is the CEO of Best Practice Project Management’s (BPPM) Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
