FORMING THE LEADERS OF THE FUTURE
The work of executives in Australian organisations demands deep experience and high level judgement. As the baby boomer generation leaves employment, serious gaps are emerging for organisations as a new cohort of younger, less seasoned executives step into senior positions.
Executives increasingly need the support and guidance of ‘wise heads’ whose judgement and guidance can enable them to operate most effectively. Tempo Mentors has established a panel of exceptional mentors who can be matched to the needs of organisations and individual leaders. Tempo mentors areindividuals with experience as chief executives, chairs, directors, Ministers or similar roles from a variety of sectors and industries.
The mission of Tempo Mentors is to provide mentoring and coaching services to leaders of Australian enterprises to strengthen their leadership and position them for the future.
WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM A MENTOR?
Mentoring supports individual development especially in times of transition.
If you are or have:
· a high performer who is being fast-tracked or groomed for the top team,
· a technical professional who needs to acquire judgement and acumen,
· an experienced executive who wants to expand their leadership repertoire,
· an executive in transition who needs to clarify career and professional development, then you are likely to benefit from a mentor.
A mentor is a wise, trusted and experienced person who passes on their perspectives, knowledge and guidance to a less experienced person. A mentor brings broader knowledge or wisdom related to the sector, organisation or role.
HOW IT WORKS –TAILORING TO CLIENT NEEDS
Tempo Mentors may be engaged by organisations or individuals. To ensure the best fit between mentor and client, Tempo will ascertain individual needs through an initial interview and select an appropriate mentor. The Tempo mentor provides at least four mentoring sessions over up to 12 months. A Tempo mentor is a person of integrity and experience, who undertakes ongoing professional development in mentoring with Tempo Mentors.
